Not receiving our emails?
Some email systems may mistake Bury u3a emails as spam, so please check your spam folder if you are not receiving expected emails from us.
Emails from Bury u3a are sent from dispatch@buryu3a.org.uk- add this to your list of contacts to ensure future emails will be accepted
Moving around the system
The menu at the top of the pages displays all our information from the 'Personal', 'Activities' and 'Information' dropdown menus.
All Groups (including Registration Groups) are listed under the 'Activities' dropdown menu.
Please note: If you are using a mobile phone to access the site and wish to see the horizontal menu, then you should turn your phone to landscape orientation. This also affects Group/Activity Leaders who wish to access their group page admin icons.
Members who need access to perform administrative functions will find a link to the 'Admin site' in the 'Personal' dropdown menu
Dropdown Menu Information (logged in)
Under Personal you will find :
My Programme - this shows the programme for the groups that you have joined over the next few months.
My Groups - this shows the groups you have joined.
My Payments - this shows the membership payments that you have made.
Check My Details - this shows your personal details - please check this page and ensure that all your details are correct, you can update any details and confirm the amendment by clicking the OK button at the bottom of the page to update your details.
Contact a Member - you can contact any other member of Bury u3a who has an email address - just start to type in the name of a member and select the right match. Their email address will not be visible to you but by default your own email address will be visible to the recipient so that they can reply to you.
Admin Site - this will only appear for members who have an authority within the website and this will switch into the background system for functions such as sending bulk emails to members.
Change Password - If you want to change your password. a screen will be displayed where you will then be able to change your password to something more memorable (you will still need to enter your existing password as well).
Under Activities you will find :
Group List - this shows the list of Groups in various formats; by Category, by day of the week, by Venue, in Alphabetical order, Groups with Vacancies and Registration Groups. Group leaders can update and contact their Groups by choosing a specific Group.
7 Day Calendar - shows those groups that have meetings within the next 7 days.
Events & Outings - Details of planned trips in the next few Months
Monthly Meetings - shows the programme for the Monthly Meetings on the second Tuesday of each month over the next few months.

General Information - Documentation about Accessibility, Group Leaders Information, Newsletters, Policies & Procedures and more .....
Message Board - News and Information about Bury u3a and Local events
National and NW Regional Websites - Links to the Regional and NW u3a Websites showing information and latest Newsletters from around the country
Picture Gallery - Photographs taken during Group activities
Meet the Trustee Board - Details of our Trustee Board members and their responsibilities
Useful Links - this shows links to various local facilities.
Venue Information - A list of all our venues, along with a map and amenities available
