Canasta and Samba Canasta are both great games. Samba Canasta is a newer version of Canasta.
Ideally it would be best to try both games and then decide which one you prefer.
That's why we encourage potential members to have a taster session. Just call in to the Atheneum on the dates specified and have a go! You'll be made very welcome.
The U3a Samba Canasta Card Group is very popular and has been running since well before pre-covid. The group always welcomes new members ( beginners ).
Group to meet on the 2nd. and 4th. Thursday mornings of each month.11am - 1.pm.
It will be in the downstairs room at the Athenaeum, so it is accessible to all.
