Bury u3a Motorbike Riders & Pillions Group
An opportunity to ride your motorcycle mid-week with like-minded Riders and Pillions of all experience levels while our less fortunate fellow bikers are at work and the roads and cafes are less crowded. The aim is to enjoy riding, and with the Lakes, Yorkshire Dales, Peak District and Saddleworth Moors on our doorstep we have ideal biking country so if you are looking for an excuse to use your bike during the week this is the group for you.
Members suggest ride outs and may lead the group for their preferred ride. Pace will be steady, making progress when safe to do so.
Meeting Point, Dates & Times: Will be agreed on and communicated to the members in advance by email and on the group's WhatsApp chat.
Cost: Members pay for their own fuel, lunch and refreshments
Please note: You'll need to have a relevant current motorcycle driving license and to ensure that their motorcycle is taxed, insured and in a roadworthy condition with a current vehicle test certificate if required.
Each rider/pillion participating in Bury U3A ride-outs does so at their own risk. It always remains the responsibility of all riders to exercise their own judgement about each and every course of action they take. Each rider is responsible for their own safety, their own actions and any consequences those actions may have on themselves or others.
